The Carolinas solar industry has boomed since North Carolinas created renewable energy tax incentives and established the Renewable Portfolio Standard, requiring utility power portfolios to be comprised in part of renewables. John Morrison has been one of the architects of this “solar boom” and he will share his thoughts on this key North Carolina industry and its future direction at this Power Breakfast.
John has been associated with the solar energy industry for more than 30 years. He was recently named Chief Operating Officer for Ecoplexus Solar after leading Strata Solar to prominence in the North Carolina solar energy industry. John has also served in government, with university and private energy research organizations and in the private sector.
Ecoplexus is a leader in the development, design, construction, and financing of solar power projects for the commercial, municipal, non-profit and utility markets in the US and key International markets.
