Even if you’ve been a member of NCSEA for years, or are just joining us, you may not know of all the work we do throughout the year to support you and the clean energy economy. We have highlighted some of our most popular activities below, so you can get to know us a little better.

Overview of Membership Benefits

  • Affinity Program: Our Affinity Partners pass along discounts on their products or services to NCSEA members. This may be anything from a solar panel installation to business solutions.

  • Career Center: Our jobs board is a great place to find talent in the clean energy industry, whether it be a highly technical position or a support position.

  • Consulting Services: NCSEA is your go-to source on energy policy, and now we’re able to customize our expertise to suit your needs. We can help develop your city’s sustainable energy plan, advise your start-up on navigating North Carolina’s energy regulations, or work with a Fortune-500 company to reduce its energy costs. Call or email us to discuss your needs.

  • Event Sponsorship: We host over two dozen events around the state each year, each well-attended by state and local leaders in clean energy. Event sponsorship is a great way to get your company noticed, with your logo appearing on all event materials.

  • Fallon Poll: Every year, NCSEA partners with Fallon Research to conduct a statewide public opinion poll on energy issues. The poll results are shared statewide and are influential in determining the year’s policy discussion.

  • Industry Census: Each year, NCSEA quantifies the clean energy industry’s presence and performance within the state’s economy with its Industry Census. NCSEA created the Census, the first of its kind nationally, to help measure the impact of North Carolina’s clean energy policies.

  • Legislative Weekly: During legislative sessions, this weekly report gives a quick roundup on the bills, legislative studies and meetings affecting clean energy, and why they matter to you.

  • Making Energy Work: NCSEA’s signature event, Making Energy Work (MEW) brings together hundreds of the state’s leaders in business, government, higher education and the nonprofit sector to find solutions to growing the clean energy economy in North Carolina.

  • Membership at Coastal Federal Credit Union: Membership at Coastal Federal Credit Union is extended to all members of NCSEA. By offering you convenient and flexible teller hours, 7 AM to 7 PM 7 days a week, Coastal allows you to access your accounts before, during and after work. Credit unions are cooperative, not-for-profit financial institutions owned by their members. By joining Coastal, you and your family will have access to a multitude of superior products and services.
