Future plans: Seeking a full-time job in environmental policy and management

I am a Duke University graduate student entering my final year of my Master’s program in water resources management. I graduated Cum Laude from Cornell University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science, where I majored in Interdisciplinary Studies and focused on environmental studies. This summer, I was NCSEA’s Advocacy Intern. I wore several different hats, and helped NCSEA’s Advocacy team with legal filings, campaign strategy, and policy analysis, as well as providing logistical oversight. I was the lead author of a 45-page filing with the North Carolina Utilities Commission. I graduate from Duke in May 2020, and am looking for a job related to finding and implementing pragmatic environmental policy and management solutions. I can be reached at [email protected].

I am particularly passionate about water policy because I am a fly fisherman. My favorite place to be is knee deep in a cold stream thinking about how to fool the next trout. I am also a political junkie and enjoy watching baseball, especially if the Red Sox are winning. Since coming to North Carolina, I have been indoctrinated into Duke basketball fandom; I was easy to win over because Cornell is not very good at basketball.
